Call for Nominations: ALAN’s 2024 Humanitarian Logistics Awards Celebrate Supply Chain Heroes
The American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) is now accepting nominations for its eighth annual Humanitarian Logistics Awards, shining a spotlight on exceptional efforts within the supply chain community to provide relief in times of crisis.

ALAN’s Executive Director, Kathy Fulton, emphasized the importance of recognizing the often-unheralded work of the commercial supply chain in facilitating humanitarian relief efforts. The awards aim to honor the compassion and generosity of companies and individuals who contribute to disaster relief, acknowledging their invaluable contributions.
Nominations for the awards, including self-nominations, are open until June 28th and can be submitted through ALAN’s website. Winners will be announced at the annual CSCMP Edge Conference in the fall.
The awards are open to any logistics professional, academic institution, organization, or department and encompass four categories:
1. Outstanding Contribution To Humanitarian Logistics
2. Employee Engagement
3. Research And Academic Contributions
4. Lifetime Achievement

Established in 2017, ALAN’s Humanitarian Logistics Awards honor those who ensure the swift delivery of aid and comfort to communities in crisis. Previous recipients include notable companies like United States Cold Storage, Flexport.org, and CEVA Logistics, as well as individuals such as Dr. Diego Vega and Professor Maria Bessiou, along with student teams from various universities partnering with ALAN.
